Dunvegan Gardens Ltd. is a family owned and operated business which has garden centers in Fairview, Fort McMurray and Edmonton. The company takes its name from the community and historic trading post where Bill and Hilda Friesen settled with their family in 1952. The family became accustomed to the hard work and long hours required to plant, water, fertilize, hoe, and harvest vegetable crops successfully. They started with the one location and eventually purchased the other properties in order to expand the enterprise.

Dunvegan Gardens has garden centers, greenhouses, market gardens and gift shops. They provide customers with a wide variety of bedding plants, vegetable and fruit plants, herbs, water plants, perennial plants, trees and shrubs, as well as landscaping tools and services.

Brad is responsible for handling invoices, bills and safety issues. During his educational career, he earned a Diploma in Greenhouse Studies. He is a member of the Alberta Farm Fresh Producers Association, Canadian Federation of Independent Business and the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce. Brad enjoys coin collecting in his spare time.
